Mrs. Edna Alspaugh, 80, formerly a resident of Love St. in Danville, died at 4:43 a.m. Saturday (June 10, 1972) at Fayette Co. Hospital in Vandalia. She had resided for four months at Heritage House in St. Elmo. She was first married to Frank Cooper, who preceded her in death in 1951, and later to Jess Alspaugh, who also preceded her. Survivors include a son, Dale Cooper of Alvin and a stepbrother, Edward Butt of Bryan, Ohio. She also was preceded in death by a son and a sister. Arrangements are incomplete at Barrick & Son Funeral Home. The body is to be returned to Danville.--waw
